Case study
Tuner Shop: 56,000 car parts, searchable by exact vehicle
56,175products
37,816cars and vans
11.4 millionpart-to-vehicle matches
The starting point
Tuner Shop is a new auto parts retailer in Sarajevo that needed an online store built from scratch, with no existing website and a supplier catalogue running to tens of thousands of parts in no format a web store could use. The first thing anyone buying car parts wants to know is whether the part fits their car, so the store had to answer that before anything else.
What we built
- The catalogue: a custom import that brings the supplier's range into the store with VAT-inclusive prices, photos and full technical specifications, listing only parts available from stock in Bosnia. All 56,175 products went in without a single failed import.
- Search by vehicle: customers pick their make, model and variant and see only the parts that fit. The fitment data covers 37,816 cars and vans, and 98.9% of the catalogue is matched to at least one vehicle.
- Clear categories: the supplier's category tree was rebuilt into 25 main categories with sub-categories.
- Mobile-first layout: designed for phones first, from the vehicle search through cart and checkout.
- A store in Bosnian: cart, checkout and customer accounts are fully translated, in light and dark mode.
- Hosting sized for the catalogue: cloud hosting chosen for a store with this many products and vehicle links.
Where it stands
The store is built and fully loaded, and launches soon.
